Dr. Schild obtained his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. 

Dr. Schild is currently licensed to practice clinical psychology in the states of California (Lic#: PSY 22339) and Hawaii (Lic#: PSY 1139).  He is also credentialed as a National Health Service Provider in Psychology (Reg#: 52296).

In 2004, Dr. Schild joined Dr. Constance Dalenberg at the Trauma Research Institute (TRI) as a student researcher.  As part of his ongoing research, Dr. Schild completed a clinical dissertation in 2007 which focused on trauma responses in deaf adults.  Since his graduation and subsequent licensure, Dr. Schild has maintained a close working relationship with the Trauma Research Institute in San Diego.
