Trauma Assessment with People who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing:
An International Clinician Survey
While knowledge about trauma symptoms in the deaf community is extremely limited, there is even less knowledge about how mental health professionals who work with this highly underserved population assess, conceptualize, and arrive at trauma-related diagnosis. This survey was developed to gain an international perspective that will help increase knowledge about the assessment process. If you are a mental health professional who works in the field of deafness, we would kindly ask for your help. Participation requires less than half an hour of your time and will significantly contribute to understanding about trauma assessment with the deaf population. At the end of the survey, you will have the option of requesting a copy of the survey results. To participate, please click HERE or visit the following website: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DTS
