How can psychological testing help you?
Psychological testing can help clarify a clinical diagnosis and aid in the identification of potential problem areas, as well as highlight a person's strengths. In addition, testing results can be helpful in guiding and improving treatment planning. Psychological testings are also frequently used to evaluate treatment progress. For example, a depressed individual may be asked to complete a depression inventory at the beginning of treatment and then several weeks or months later to evaluate if the treatment has been working.
Dr. Schild offers a comprehensive, multi-component assessment including structured clinical interviews, psychological testing using empirically based psychological measures, and a feedback/debriefing session.
